Our Owner
Top Plate Construction is owned by Manuel Nevarez. Married, with five children, he lives in the Yuba-Sutter area. He began working in the construction industry at age 16 and at the time specialized in custom decks, gazebos, and trellises. He moved onto spec homes and home construction after several years. Later he joined the Carpenters Union as a journeyman and completed various projects including schools, parking structures, treatment plants, and bridge-work. He became a foremen, building local schools (AK and Butte Vista), AT&T/Verizon cell phone towers, and custom homes.
